I took our christmas tree out two days ago.
It look so lush and green I wasn't ready to consign it to a firepit.
So it has stayed on the patio.
Yesterday we re-decorated with food for the birds.
Our winter's been so mild I don't know if they'll come for a treat,
but we have tried to share a gift with them.

I'm not a big fan of birds, but I'd love to see those two peeking at me!
How lovely to see the fruit slices! I don't blame you for getting a little bit more out of the tree.
