It's still a long list but it is getting shorter!  I have a few things to add to the list (Christmas is coming!) this quarter.  I think I need to do a post crossing things off so I can see that progress.  We've had several weeks of crazy busy going on at our house which has translated into no sewing for me.  Although not completely true, I helped my Mom get started on a project, but that was cutting not sewing and well it's not quite the same.  Here's hoping for a stack of finishes this quarter!

Finishes 3

A few more finishes!  I'm on a roll.

The purple squares baby quilt.  Not quite what I'd hoped, but it's home.

My elephants are bound!  I'm snuggling under them.
I love how my niece quilted them!

Mowg's Primary Bee quilt!
His cousin quilted it in bows (like a package). It's fantastic!
He and I worked on the binding together.
Thanks for the great blocks Primary Bee Mates!

Tiny's quilt is in the binding stage, but she wants to be much more involved so it's taking a little longer.  It looks amazing too.  I'm quite sure I don't want to do something like that again, but I'm sure glad we did.  Babywan was asking about her quilt last night, so I guess I'd better get going on something for her.  She did after all "make" a block or two and I think I can pull together some things for her so she can have a quilt she made as well.  So much to do!

My list original is here.

My list is HERE

1 Pettiskirt:

Tired birthday girl

Jumping!

To Battle!

I don't know why these two quilts have taken so long.
At last they are done!

This one's for a cute little guy!

This one for a cute little girl

Camping they will go!  I just realized too that they're not on my list--that's how fast I thought they were going to be!  At least they are done!

Another Finish!

I have learned so much about quilting since I pieced this quilt. It's unbelievable!

I still like it though and it's not quite matching one that's on Mowg's bed.
This is for one of my nieces.  She love knights.
Can you see them?

These aren't great shots, but I wanted to get pictures taken and I didn't have any quilt holders around
The stairs were marginal.

In any case a 2 or 3 year quilt is finally done!!

Happy Dance, Deep Breath and onto something else.

My list is here

Spring!

SPRING!

Lilac's Coming on

A little Pig on it's way with a favorite teacher to a new home.

Lambs to feed.

Busy, busy time!

This is our ornamental crab apple tree
It visually sings every spring

We really love it

We've had a very wet spring, which has its delights.

Like Vivid Rainbows!
Double Rainbows!

"Can we try to find the end Mom?"
"You know that we won't..."
"Yes, I just want to, please."
"OK, go and see if the girls want to come."

So we chased the rainbows looking for an end.

Instead we found swallow nests on a railroad cutout.

Cows, clouds and hillsides.

We saw horses and old charcoal kilns (no pics), an amazing sky,
and the rainbows of course.
Best of all we enjoyed being together chasing.

Before we started  I found the end of rainbow, but I didn't dare stop the chase.
More precious than gold.
