Q2 Finish-Along

So once again here's a huge list so I can jump into which ever project catches my fancy.  Many of these are flimsies needing quilting.   My parents quilts are my plan for them for Christmas so it would be nice if I got them done soon.   It's been a couple quarters since I've gotten anything done, so I decided to take pictures of some of these to inspire me to finish.  Something about physically touching the project and remembering how fun they are has been helping.

Honeycomb I-Spy Pink Quilt Complete!

I hand quilted all of the hexagons and machine quilted everything else.

You can tell it's been waiting a long time by the crease in the middle.  I'm so excited that it's finally done.  This is for one of my nieces and when I first started making it her favorite color was pink.  Then it changed to dark dark blue.  Thank goodness they look good together.   This pattern used to be a free pattern by Quilts with a Twist.  I had made their I Spy With A Twist Pattern for a nephew that she lived near and she always claimed that quilt when she went to visit.  So I decided I needed to make her her own version.  I love how it turned out.  I'm a machine quiltling so I was very nervous, unsure if I would ruin the quilt after all the time I'd invested in it but it worked!

Baby Quilt Patchwork is finally finished and on it's way to my niece.

So excited to have it done!

I pieced and machine quilted this one and feel like I'm getting a little better at it.

I make a huge list so I can jump into which ever project catches my fancy.  Many of these are flimsies needing quilting--a couple are soo close just needing binding.  A few are barely pulled together, but I know I want/need to get them done soon, so here they are.  I'm hoping to cross several off this quarter.  Here's to quilting!  :)  (And starting new projects because you just scored some great fabric and that's more fun than the projects that are bugging you to finish them.)  I didn't finish anything last quarter and knew that most of the quarter I wouldn't be able to do much, but thought I'd have some time the last few weeks.   Then I got sick which made it impossible.   This quarter I've got big plans to knock some things off this list.  I'm making some progress so here's hoping there are a lot more things to report completed this quarter!
